Started the year off on a great note with good fishing. Tarpon Snook & Jacks

Good night on Snook last night. Couldn’t get a Tarpon to eat. Very frustrating. Got his 1st fish on the swing. Pseudo Shrimp is becoming my favorite night time fly.

Had an awesome evening with Luc. He wanted to get his 1st Snook. He got plenty of common & a fat a long with Jacks & Moon fish. All fish taken on a size 2 Psuedo Shrimp

These cool evening temps have the Snook off the feed. Saw plenty of them just not many willing to eat. Got a few Fat Snook & a Jack. All we’re taking on a Shrimp fly I’ve been playing around with

We had a cold front go through last night but that didn’t effect the fishing. Snook were chewing a size 4 white Shrimp pattern I’ve been playing with. Jumped 2 Tarpon on a black Artic Fox tail & black spun deer hair 2” long. Leaderd 1

What an incredible trip Tom from NY had. He wanted to get his 1st Tarpon & what a Christmas present that would be he said. He hooked 11 & on a size 1 black/purple Artic Fox & Deer Hair bout 1 1/2”. He also got some Snook on his own White Shrimp fly.

Had another great morning with James. Lights wer a little slow but managed a bunch of Snook on white Schminnows & a white Shrimp size 2-4. Saw only 2 Tarpon. Top water at 1st light was great. Missed a few Snook & got into a few nice Jacks.

Lights size 4 white Schminnows took plenty of Snook Jacks & Moon fish. Sea walls 2/0 white popper & big wig hair gurgler. Unfortunately he lost 3 big Snook on top waters

What a night heavy winds but that didn’t stop the fish from the size 4 white Schminnow. Jack , Moons, Blue Runners , Snook & a nice baby Tarpon. Unfortunately while trying to grab the Tarpon Santiago dropped him so no hero shots.

Not a bad night on the Snook. Got a nice slot Snook. Only saw 1 small Tarpon. Small white/olive EP minnow
