1st day on the Salmon River & greeted to heavy wet snow this morning. 1-2 on the Steelhead using a yellow egg cluster. Hopefully fishing picks up as it was pretty slow.

It’s been blowing the past few days here so I’ve been tying up a Steelhead order. Heading up this week for 3 weeks. Hopefully flows will come down

Despite the heavy winds we had to deal with this morning we had good fishing. 4” all black spun deer hair fly took all the fish this morning. Had plenty of rolling Tarpon just no eaters.

Last night we had and very good night on the Snook. Size 2 Schminnows did the damage. Even got 1 on a Scott Centric 4 weight.

We had a blast last night throwing size 2 white Schminnow with Snook. The smiles says it all. Some mullet ate still around

Took the Gheenoe out to see if we could find some baby Snook & Tarpon. We did find the smallest Snook I’ve boated. Also a Jack & 2-6 on Tarpon. Most fish came on size 2 all white Loxahatchee River Crusher

Last night started out with a Tarpon then a Lady fish taken on a 4” all black spun deer hair Mullet. Then we tried swinging a size 2 all white Schminnow All the Common, Fat, & Tarpon Snook were taken on the swing.

Last night the mission was to get Dave his 1st Tarpon ( the past 2 days he’s put them in the air ) Well last night was no different unfortunate the 1 he hooked put on a nice air show but broke off. He did manage a Snook slam Common, Fat & Tarpon all on a black deer hair Mullet

Did an exploratory trip last night. Headed south of where we usually fish. Found a couple of small Snook & baby Tarpon to eat the Loxahatchee River Crusher. To be honest I’d rather fish were we always fish
