Sorry for the lack of reports but had web issues. early this wee the river was the best ive seen Snook Jacks & Lady fish blitzing minnows & pilchards Even jumped a Tarpon on a 5 weight Hit the beach today & saw 1 over slot Snook & a couple of big Jacks

With windy weather we’re having this week it was time to go look at some FW ponds. Floating line on a 6-weight rod & a size 2 all black Tuscan Bunny. Got 3 eats & landing a baby Tarpon.

Took my protege down south for Snake Heads & Electric Ditch Pickles. Mission accomplished. Unfortunately trying to land a big Snake Head the leader broke. 3-4” baitfish patterns in white & chartreuse or white & olive.

Last night we had a slow night. We spent most of the night looking for a big Snook or Tarpon. We had 3-bites putting a Tarpon in the air on a spun deer hair fly. We then hit the lights & had a problem landing the Snook which was hard getting them to eat. Thrown in we’re a bunch of Jacks

Alex wanted to head offshore & see if he could get into some Albies & then run the beach for a big Jack. Well he got what he was looking for.

Last night we started out looking for Tarpon. Water was dirty from all the east winds we’ve been having. We put 1 in the air on a olive EP bait fish pattern 3”. We then went looking for Snook & it was very good. White/Chartreuse with silver flash EP fly 3”. Plenty of large Moonies

Last night started out awesome 1st @ 1st light we hit we land a Tarpon. And the we couldn’t do anything right. Got 4 more eats but couldn’t stay connected. We then decided to go get some Snook. We got into some Snook & large Moonies. Snooks mouth you’ll see the White Psuedo Shrimp

4/26/97

Headed down to the Everglades yesterday. Water was pretty clean but had to deal with wind. Didn’t see any fish but plenty of boats. After 3:00 we started to se some Tarpon on the 3rd shot we got a bite & it was a big girl probably over a 100#’s. She ate an all black fly. Marabou tail & EP 3” foxy brush fly. Also got a Jack about 10#’s

Last night was unbelievable. Wind howling 20-30 mph but Luc from ME put a serious hurting on the Snook. 1- light we landed a dozen Snook all on the same size 4 white Schminnow. All but 1 light we hit we got eaten.

4/21/22

Last we had to deal with heavy wind & then some rain. John from MI wanted to go so we headed up the Loxahatchee River. Fishing was VG some Jacks Moon fish & a bunch of Snook landed & lost. Size 4 white Schminnow & size 2 Psuedo Shrimp
